Caffeinated Toronto: Comprehensive guide #2

Ready for a second edition of Toronto coffee guide? I know I am 😉

Check out these cool coffee places around the city!

Early Bird Espresso Bar

613 QUEEN STREET WEST

This hipster coffee place located in the stylish Queen Street West will blow your mind. VERY good coffee (plus, one of the best matcha lattes in the city!) and delicious snacks. I urge you to try their overnight oats on coconut milk and their breakfast cookies. Although, I’m pretty sure everything else is amazing as well.
Short and Sweet Bakeshop

1945 AVENUE ROAD

2025 YONGE STREET

I haven’t tried their monster desserts or crazy-looking milkshakes (though people seem to be really into them!), but what I have tries is their cappuccino. And let me tell you. It’s as smooth as it’s supposed to be.

Jimmy’s Coffee

84 GERRARD WEST (Kensington)

191 BALDWIN

107 PORTLAND

15 OSSINGTON

735 QUEEN WEST

166 MCCAUL

Lots of locations around the town makes it easier for you to find great on-the-go coffee while running errands. But if you do have time to stay a bit, do it: all of their cafes have unique eclectic design.

Versus Coffee

70 ADELAIDE STREET EAST

This place is famous for its “rainbow” lattes. The coffee here is good as well as the snacks. However, a warning: everything is quite expensive. So you’d better check the prices before you decide on something 🙄

Bread & Roses Bakery Cafe

508 DANFORTH AVENUE

A small cozy place in the Greek part of the town offers tasty baked goods and great coffee options. Also, a very neat latte art 😉

Hailed Coffee

801 GERRARD STREET EAST

The place is just superb, okay? Just perfect. Stylish, modern, savoury and… omg, look at this pistachio croissant.

Bob Coffee Bar

440 CHRISTIE STREET

I should confess. Not the best coffee in the town (but definitely not the worst!). This place is more about an atmosphere. There is something special about it. It’s just very homey, very “neighbourhoody”, very family-oriented. Come here to watch people. And no, that’s not creepy lol 😂

FIKA Café

28 KENSINGTON AVENUE

THIS PLACE GUUUUYS! Visit it asap! First, it has a sick design 😍. Second, it has perfect coffee, tea selection and authentic hot chocolate (approved by a true Belgian soul, and they know about good chocolate, believe me!). Third, the food 🤤

P.S. My friends and I met two Swedish men in this café and they told us the name FIKA actually means Coffee Place in Swedish. Nice 🤗

Okay, enough. Let’s have a coffee break my curious friends 👋🏽☕️
